Here are things we know: 1) PR firms get the memo a LOT 2) plaid is quite frequently the subject of the memo. Which is not to say that the ladies of Weber Shandwick, pictured L-R: Jenny B., Gillian K., and the seemingly Twitterless Susannah F. are suffering from an ordinary or expected memo. We would never say such a thing. We treat all memos with the respect and reverence they deserve. This is a fine plaid PR memo.
