This is such a marginal memo, you’d think Andy Morris himself submitted it (we kid, Andy; you’re the best!), but it passed the tough bar to make the Memo blog because it was taken from the official ride of Memo HQ, and they not only got the black-leggings-skimmers-helmets-neutral-tops-crossbody-bag memo, but they also read the part about how it’s bike season. Spring is for denim, and the Memos are flying accordingly. Vests, shirts, pants, scrunchies, whatever you like (oh, how we wish we’d spotted a denim scrunchie). Hold onto your seats folks, but a rare moment occurs from time to time by the name of the MetaMemo! That’s when two Memos get the Memo. And today we have one such situation.

Atop, FOM (friend of the Memo) Kelly Samardak, newish Floridian, pro photog, power networker and certified hottie, got the Memo with a fellow party-goer. Her Memo got the black-tops-red-pants Memo with one featuring Ashley and Jessica of Boston’s Matter Communications, who are featured below and evidently received a similar document.

Memo HQ likes to keep up on what’s hot, but the current color trend “oxblood” is one we can’t quite get on board with. What is different about an ox’s blood color from any mammal; say, for instance, a squirrel? But nonetheless, the persistently Memo-getting ladies of Yext, Jenny, Allison, Liz and Daphne, like hugs and smiles, they like snacks, and they like oxblood Memos (though we’re not sure, the Memo may have actually requested walrusblood).

Memo parameters suggest that those who show up wearing the same thing are in all probability more likely to have been in receipt of a Memo than those who show up all in something different. We stand divided, however, on instances wherein folks show up in a different version of the same thing. Say, for instance, bright pants.

But since this bright pants Memo submission from Lionsgate Entertainment in LA hit the inbox the very same time the Gap Facebook page ran the photo below it, we figured our Memo stars were aligning and posted it post haste.
